Your Individuality Makes You Great

Motivation is a result, not a goal. Your individuality and uniqueness are what is going to make you great. Being able to identify and accomplish things that makes us unique is more efficient than trying to do what makes someone else great. Ultimately, things happen either way, but the fall is much harder if we are trying to be someone we’re not. 

Setbacks will happen, but that doesn’t signal an end to your journey, only a quick detour. Being well does not mean having any problems. To be well is to know that you can handle them. 

Imagine all the beautiful things you might be thinking if you did not have your mind occupied in all your problems

Look at all this you have right now and not what you lost. Because it’s not what the world takes from you that counts, it’s what you do with what you have left. 

Here are some things to remember when you’re going through a bad streak:

This, too, is temporary.

Every time it rains, stop doing it. Every time you get hurt, you heal. After darkness, there is always light. Nothing lasts forever. 

That life is not easy right now does not mean you cannot laugh. Just because something is bothering you doesn’t mean you can’t be happy. 

Each moment gives you a new beginning and a new ending. You have a second chance every second. You just have to take it and do your best.

Pain is part of growth and does not come without a purpose.

Sometimes life closes our doors because it is time to move on. And that’s fine because we often don’t move if circumstances don’t force us to do so.

“Only time can heal, what reason cannot.” – Seneca

Heal your wounds but never forget what they taught you. Everything will come out. Maybe not immediately, but over time.

Remember that there are two types of pain: the pain that hurts and the pain that changes you. 

When you flow with life instead of resisting it, both types of pain will help you grow.

Worrying and complaining doesn’t change anything.

How many times has worrying led you to get what you wanted? How many times has it just made the situation worse? The ones who complain the most are the ones who least achieve.

It is always better to try to do something and fail than to do nothing and succeed. This does not end if you lose. It ends when you do nothing and complain about it. 

If you believe in something, keep trying.

“Do not let the shadows of the past obscure the doors of your future.”

Every little fight is a step forward. It’s the small steps that lead us to our goals, not giant leaps. Patience is not waiting. 

It is the ability to maintain a good attitude while working on what you believe, knowing that the effort is worth it. Try recording your goals, looking over them daily, and visualize yourself accomplishing them one step at a time. 

Each step forward will make you feel better than anything else you can imagine. You will realize that the fight is not in the way, it is the way itself.

And it is worth it. 

So if you are going to try to go until the end. There is no better feeling in the world than embracing the experience of struggle, knowing what it means to be alive.

Your scars are reminders of your strength.

A scar means that the pain is gone, and the wound has closed. Don’t be ashamed of the wounds that life has left you. It means that you overcome the pain, learned the lesson, and became stronger.

Remind yourself that a scar is a tattoo of a triumph that you should be proud of. The wound is the place where light penetrates you. You have survived, and you have scars that prove it. You’ve revealed your strength and perseverance, now you can only grow stronger.

What it is meant to be will be.

You cannot force things to happen. At some point, you will have to let them go and allow what it is meant to be. In the end, loving your life is trusting your intuition, taking risks, losing and finding happiness, caressing memories, and learning from experience.

It’s a long trip. You have to stop worrying and doubt every step you take along the way. Laugh at the confusion, consciously live the moment and enjoy your life as it develops. You may not end up exactly where you intend to go, but you will likely arrive precisely where you need to be. 

The negativity of others is not your problem.

Do not let the bitterness of another change who you are. What’s more, don’t you think about changing just to impress someone who says you’re not good enough?

If you change it, it is because you want to become someone better and have a brighter future. People will talk, regardless of what you do and how you do it. So worry about yourself before worrying about what others think. If you believe in something, don’t be afraid to fight for it.

True strength is born from overcoming what others believed impossible. 

The life you only have one. This is so. Do what makes you happy and be with who makes you feel good.

The best thing you can do is move on.

Do not be afraid to love and dream again. Do not let life harden your heart. The best lessons are learned in the worst moments and from the biggest mistakes.

When you feel that you are going to give up, remember that sometimes things have to go very severely before they go well. Sometimes you have to go through the worst to get to the best.

Yes, life is hard, but you are even more challenging. Find the strength to laugh every day. Find the courage to get up and move on.

Live simple. Love without fear. Speak with the heart. Work hard. And if you fall short, keep going. 

Get up every morning and show the world that you have much to contribute as well.
